Project
Tremplyn
A set of kits for learning, and then deepening, craft techniques, housed in high-end wooden cases. The “Conserver et Faire Perdurer” collection introduces the traditional techniques of the decorative arts and draws attention to their disappearance. Images from the making of the marquetry kit's prototype.
In collaboration with Léonie Bordes.
A prototype made by hand
The marquetry kit brings together the veneers, the tools and the steps for composing a pattern. Its prototype was made in the workshop: each strip of wood is cut by hand on the mat, laid up and glued.
