Le Moulin Mobile AgroParisTech

Le Moulin Mobile is a sorting and milling truck that travels from farm to farm to process the grain where it is grown.

In collaboration with a team of designers and engineers from AgroParisTech and Ensaama Olivier de Serres.

Towards fairer trade

Unlike a conventional distribution chain, the Moulin Mobile shares the proceeds of milling more fairly. The farmer's income doubles, from €0.44 to €0.79 per kilo of flour.

A regular round

The Moulin Mobile's round takes ten days. It calls at each farm to process the grain, then goes straight on to the shops for direct sale.
